JOHNVILLAS - What for?
"Johnvillas" is neither a travel agency nor a real estate company. We, Barbara and Peter John, the owners of "johnvillas" are at the same time happy owners of a wonderful home in the Algarve, the South Coast of Portugal.
We both grew up in Switzerland and have a young family with three children ages 6, 8 and 10. We have been working in management positions for international hotels around the world for the last 15 years. A few years ago, when working in the Western Algarve, we had the chance to realize the dream of our own home and were able to create, what you might call, our "Home base". Nowadays, living further distant as well as the children having to go to school, we are unfortunately not in a position to take sufficient advantage of our home.
We have therefore decided to offer our house for rent so that other "Algarve Lovers" can take advantage of our favorite place to be. This is part of the reason behind "johnvillas". In addition, we know other friends who are in the same situation as us and as a result, we also offer the platform to other home owners for them to present their property.
All reservations are channeled directly through us. We guarantee for exclusivity and personal service - discrete and efficient, the way we have been taught when working for luxury hotels all around the world.
- Knowledge & competence:
we know all homes as well as their owners and the local representatives personally. We have physically seen the houses, checked their location, the maintenance, the equipment as well as the furnishings and their state - we guarantee for what we promote. - Careful selection:
we have carefully selected the houses we decided to publish. We are not interested to feature a large selection. It is not our primary commercial activity - the principal idea was to create a platform of exchange, more so than a business. - Quality & cleanliness:
from working in the hospitality industry we know what is expected and we are especially keen, on cleanliness and quality. For each home you will find a detailled description as well as hints for special services. - Personal service:
it is of outmost importance to us to be able to deliver personal service, to be able to advise each guest or family in accordance with their specific needs. A holiday should be as such from the very first moment when you arrive. - Become a regular guest:
it is our mission for you to spend a real holiday, to become a regular guest and to recommend us to your friends.
